Oldham keen on Gretna goalkeeper

Oldham are interested in signing highly-rated Gretna goalkeeper Greg Fleming. The Scotland Under 21 international has impressed this season and looks set to leave administration-saddled Gretna in the summer. Crewe and Dundee United have both been linked with Fleming in the past and John Sheridan's Latics have now joined the chase. "Greg has been training with other clubs," said Gretna coach Andy Smith. "Crewe and Oldham are two from England, but the phone has been busy regarding Greg as he is going to be a very good goalkeeper and an asset." Gretna were relegated from the Scottish Premier League in March and face liquidation if they fail to attract an appropriate buyer by the 17th May deadline. Many of the club's senior players have been told they are free to find other clubs.
