Oldham winger Andy Liddell has signed a new one-year contract at Boundary Park.
Andy Liddell has signed a new one-year contract that keeps him at Boundary Park for another season.
The 34-year-old has endured a frustrating campaign due to injury but in recent weeks has proved his fitness to win fresh terms.
Latics boss John Sheridan has spoken of a desire to have an experienced core to his squad next season and Liddell fits the bill as one of the club's veteran campaigners.
Veteran keeper Mark Crossley has also signed, and Liddell was happy to join him after concluding negotiations on Friday.
He told Latics World: "I'm glad to sign up again because I like playing for John and his staff and I enjoy being at the club.
"Once I knew they wanted to keep me it took about five minutes to sort the contract out.
"There's an excellent group of young players here and the club's future looks good."
