Full-back wants to play regular first-team football
Jack Smith is weighing up whether to sign a new one-year contract on offer at Swindon Town.
The full-back has spent three seasons at the County Ground, but is keen to be playing first-team football on a regular basis.
The former Watford defender has started only 21 of Swindon's League One matches this season and is undecided about committing his future to Maurice Malpas' side.
"We had a good chat on Thursday and the manager has said there is something there for me if I want to sign it," Smith told the Swindon Advertiser.

"I won't go into exactly what he said, but he said if I want to sign he wants me to stay, but if I want to leave then it is up to me.
"I will go away and think about it now. It looks like it will only be another year contract and maybe I will want to push on and get some security.
"I want to be playing first-team football. That is why I came to Swindon in the first place because I was not getting that at Watford.
"Watford said I could have another year there, but I probably would not play that much, so I said fine I will leave."
