Hartlepool United have received a boost after learning Sam Collins did not break any ribs against Yeovil Town.

The defender lasted just 15 minutes of Monday's 2-0 home win after suffering the injury during a heavy fall.

It was feared that Collins had broken ribs in the incident and, although he is doubtful for Saturday's game with Swansea City, it is not a serious problem.

"It's not as bad for Sam as we thought," Wilson told the club's official website.

"We'll have to keep a close eye on him and see how he progresses because at the moment it's his breathing that is the problem."

Richie Barker is also a concern for the weekend's game with League One leaders Swansea after picking up a hamstring injury against Yeovil.
