The 21-year-old is being tracked by a host of clubs including the likes of West Brom, Norwich, Charlton and Hull.
The young striker, who can also play on the wing, has bagged nine goals so far this term and there were fears on Teesside that Brown could be lured away.
But Wilson is pleased to report that there are no bids lodged so far.
"It does not surprise me that there have been no bids because there are another two weeks to go and clubs are waiting to see what is available at the end of the window," said Wilson.
"Prices are too high and people are not in too much of a rush. If one or two clubs get some people in, then it will kick everything off.
"I am not interested in selling any of my players.
"We have got a thin squad as it is. We need to add to it rather than letting people go.
"But I have not got the money to splash out and spend silly. We will have to wait and see what is available to us."
Options
Wilson is looking to add to his attacking options and he has been linked with a move for Stockport's Anthony Elding - but his boss Jim Gannon has also stressed he has had no offers for him
"There may be one or two whispers, but at the moment we've had no concrete offers of any sort for any of our players," said Gannon.
"I'm sure that if the players keep playing like they currently are over the next couple of weeks there will be speculation.
"I'm sure there must be clubs in ours or higher divisions that would like a lot of our players, but I'll be doing everything in my power to keep the squad together.
"We don't need to lose anybody, we're in a very good position and that's showing on the pitch as well."
Meanwhile, Hartlepool have allowed Eddie Nolan to return to Blackburn after his loan spell expired.
"We're very grateful for Blackburn for their help in letting us take Eddie on loan," said Wilson.
"I'm certain that Eddie will have a very bright future in front of him and I wish him well."
