Andy Williams sees no reason why Bristol Rovers can not set their sights on the League One play-offs.

Andy Williams sees no reason why Bristol Rovers can not set their sights on the League One play-offs.

Rovers are currently 17th in the table, but have won three in a row in the league to lie 11 points off the top six.

But, with Paul Trollope's side having games in hand, Williams is urging Rovers to maintain their current form.

He told the club's official website: "We're on fire at the moment and hopefully we can continue that.

Pretty confident

"Even back at Christmas we still had confidence in each other and our ability to move up the table, and with the points we've picked up recently we can look towards the top end.

"We've got games in hand over sides as well, and home games as well which should be good for us. If we can keep this up we should be looking up at the play-offs maybe, rather than downwards.

"At the moment I'm feeling pretty confident, I'm getting chances and I'm putting them away. The ball is falling to me and I'm taking the opportunities which is a good thing for any striker."
