Lincoln City have agreed loan deals for Cheltenham's Lee Ridley and Chesterfield's Adam Smith.
Defender Ridley is currently out of favour at Whaddon Road and has only made eight League One appearances for the club this season after finding his route to the first team blocked by veteran full-back Alan Wright.
Ridley only joined the club during the summer but was sent out on a month's loan to Darlington in November after failing to force his way into the side.
He has been joined at Sincil Bank by Adam Smith who has signed a deal with the club until 2nd February.
Smith has only made seven appearances for the Spireites this season and manager Lee Richardson felt it was best for both parties if the player went out on loan.
"I am pleased with what Adam is doing in training but I now want him to get a few games under his belt," said the Chesterfield boss.
"There has been interest from a couple of clubs but I have decided that a loan move to Lincoln best fits the bill at this time."
Both Smith and Ridley will go straight into Lincoln's squad for their League Two encounter with Rochdale on Saturday.
