Brighton manager Dean Wilkins has revealed that he dropped Dean Cox from his squad on Saturday for disciplinary reasons.
The midfielder was axed from the Brighton squad which secured a comfortable 3-0 win against Swindon at the weekend, despite being a regular this season.
And Wilkins has now admitted that Cox was omitted as a disciplinary measure, but the Seagulls boss has refused to explain the reasons for his decision.
"Dean was left out for disciplinary reasons and that is as far as I will go on that," said Wilkins.
"I am not going to elaborate on that, but it was a decision I felt needed making."
