Nottingham Forest defender Luke Chambers believes an enforced break will do the team good.
The Reds do not play again until Crewe visit the City Ground on November 24, with next weekend's scheduled trip to Carlisle postponed due to international call-ups.
Chambers believes the squad will benefit from the chance to recharge their batteries following their disappointing 1-1 draw at League Two Lincoln in the FA Cup.
He told the Evening Post: "It's good to have a break, a few of the lads were looking a little leggy on Saturday, so maybe a break will do us good.
"We will miss another league game, but when we come back at least we will have a clear picture of what we need to do to get to the top of the league."
