Former Scotland international Robbie Winters is looking to return to British football in January.
The striker has spent the past five years playing in Norway with Brann, but is hoping for a move when the transfer window reopens.
He was linked with Oldham Athletic 12 months ago, but a switch to Boundary Park failed to materialise.
But Winters, who won his solitary international cap against Germany in 1999, is expecting better luck this time around.
"I am hoping to return to Great Britain in January," Winters told Bergens Tidende.
"I am in touch with my agent regularly and hope he has found a club by then."
