Brighton defender Joel Lynch's comeback from a fractured fibula lasted just 20 minutes after he limped out of a reserve game on Wednesday night.
Brighton defender Joel Lynch has suffered another setback in his bid to return from a fractured fibula.
Lynch lasted just 20 minutes of a reserve game on Wednesday evening after pulling up with a hamstring injury.
The 20-year-old had made excellent progress in his recovery from the fibula injury but ill-luck has struck again with a fresh complaint.
"The injury does not look as bad as it could be. He can put weight on it but we'll have to see how he is," said Seagulls assistant-boss Dean White.
"Joel has worked hard to get himself in the frame. It's really frustrating for him but that's life, you have to dust yourself down and get on with it.
"You get knock-backs and it's about how you react to them."
