Former Aston Villa left-back Alan Wright has joined Cheltenham Town.
The veteran stopper has linked up with The Robins on a non-contract basis and is caretaker manager Keith Downing's second signing.
Wright was a free agent after leaving Sheffield United in the summer.
The 36-year-old could make his Cheltenham debut in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash against Swindon on Tuesday evening.
"Alan is a very good player and his career record speaks for itself," Downing told the club's official website.
"He will bring quality and experience to the team and I have received good reports on his character which suggests he will fit in with the way we do things.
"Alan has been training with Sheffield United and has kept himself very fit. He just wants to play some football now so it's a good move for all concerned."
