Gillespie and Geary set for spell on sidelines
Sheffield United duo Keith Gillespie and Derek Geary are set to be sidelined for a few weeks due to injury.
Geary did not feature in the 3-3 draw with Cardiff on Tuesday and Bryan Robson has revealed he will undergo surgery on his troublesome knee later this week.
Gillespie was forced off the pitch against Cardiff with a hamstring strain and Robson admits he is growing frustrated by the number of injuries at Bramall Lane.
"We don't seem to be able to get through a game without picking up an injury," Robson told the club's official website.
"It will probably be a few weeks before he plays again.
"Derek Geary faces a knee operation in the next couple of days and, depending on how serious that turns out to be, he will also be out for some time.
"That's a pity because he has been one of our best players, but it has been troubling him for a while so we might as well get it done now."
Gary Naysmith is also sidelined for this weekend's clash at Bristol City, while Nick Montgomery is doubtful with a rib injury.
