Scunthorpe leapfrogged Oldham at the top after a 1-0 win over Rotherham United.

Scunthorpe United have leapfrogged Oldham Athletic to the top of League One after a 1-0 home win over bottom club Rotherham United.

On-loan Jermaine Beckford (17, pictured) struck the only goal for The Iron at Glanford Park, as Nigel Adkins' side went three points clear at the summit.

Oldham fall off the top after Millwall came from a goal down to win 2-1 at Boundary Park.

Following a goalless first half, Paul Warne (55) gave The Latics the lead before Marvin Williams (61) levelled for the visitors.

The Lions then claimed victory through a Darren Byfield penalty (82).

Bristol City are two points off the automatic promotion places after an important 1-0 win at Blackpool.

Finally, a dramatic late strike by Damian Spencer moved Cheltenham Town out of the bottom four after a 1-0 home win over Bournemouth.
