Marvin Williams has hit back at manager David Tuttle for giving up all hope.
Marvin Williams has hit back at manager David Tuttle for giving up all hope in Millwall's seemingly forlorn battle for survival.
A 1-1 draw with Plymouth on Saturday saw the club slump to the bottom of the division and, with his side eight points adrift, Tuttle admitted he was resigned to relegation.
But winger Williams insists The Lions have no option but to continue the fight.
"We'll keep going. It doesn't look good but while survival is still mathematically possible, we'll give it everything," said Williams.
"Realistically, we're down. But if we all went into the next game as Tutts, we might as well not turn up."
Tuttle, who is expected to leave the club in the summer, had said: "It's over. We're relegated. Now the club have to focus on next season in League One."
