Pressley: We need to battle

Coventry manager Steven Pressley believes his side are still in a relegation battle following the agonising 2-1 defeat to Swindon.

Michael Smith struck the winner in the 93rd minute after Spurs loanee Alex Pritchard's opener had been cancelled out by John Fleck.

The result means that Coventry haven't won in their last four games, and they sit five points above the bottom four.

Pressley said: "We're in it. We are very much aware of that.

"We are only five points above the relegation zone. I think our final decisions today were not good enough.

"I feel that the three front players had to do better, we had some really good moments and our choices were disappointing.

"I thought our commitment was very good. I felt that we started the game with a little bit of trepidation and a little bit of nerves. We finished the first-half strongly but we weren't clinical enough in the final third.

"We've got three games to prove we have a winning mentality. We can also see plenty of effort but a test of anyone's character is on the pitch, and we need to prove we have that."
