Dons deny Robinson speculation

MK Dons chairman Pete Winkelman says the club have not been approached by Bournemouth regarding boss Karl Robinson.

Robinson is rumoured to be on Bournemouth's radar to succeed Paul Groves, who was relieved of his duties last week. However, Winkelman told the Daily Echo: "There hasn't been any official approach from Bournemouth, no. Not that I am aware of." Robinson, 32, has a growing reputation having guided the Dons to the League One play-offs in each of the past two seasons. Appointed to his first managerial post aged just 29 in May 2010, Robinson became the youngest manager in English football - replacing then-Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe as the youngest in the Football League.
