Stevenage edged out Irish outfit University College of Dublin 4-3 on Tuesday, in what was Boro's second consecutive seven-goal thriller.
A Robin Shroot brace and efforts from Greg Tansey and Marcus Haber ensured the League One team followed up their 7-0 defeat of St James' Gate last week with another victory.
Haber headed Stevenage in front within two minutes when he converted Tansey's cross to bag his second pre-season goal.
A Paul Corry free-kick saw the visitors equalise on 40 minutes before the hosts took the lead through a Dave McMillan penalty shortly after the restart.
The Irish club's lead was short lived however as Shroot followed up his four goals against St James' Gate by rounding the goalkeeper and slotting home.
Not to be disheartened the hosts took the lead once again before Shroot bagged his second equaliser of the match. Tansey then expertly placed a free-kick in the top corner to snatch victory for Stevenage.
