Bradbury: Satisfied with draw

Sky Bet

Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury left freezing Hartlepool satisfied with a point following a goalless draw at Victoria Park.

There was little on show to warm the hearts. Both sides were full of effort, but it came to nothing and it was a game of few chances.

Bradbury, before heading to catch a chartered plane to take his players back to the south coast, said: "It's a tricky place to come and we had to be very professional.

"They're on a good run of form, doing well of late, and there were a lot of positives for us out there.

"A major positive is keeping a clean sheet, we never really looked like conceding and we did have a couple of half chances.

"On another day we could have won the game. Wesley Thomas had a couple of chances to score which, on another day, he would have put away, but he's been tremendous for us this season and is entitled to have an off day like that and miss a couple.

"We've been trying to make the play-offs, it's going to be difficult as it's tight at the top end of the table and they have games in hand on us. If we had won we would have gone into sixth, but it's a good point."
