Taiwo red card is upheld

Leyton Orient have failed in their attempts to get Solomon Taiwo's red card during the weekend draw with Walsall rescinded.

Taiwo was dismissed by referee Andy D'Urso after 39 minutes of the clash at Brisbane Road following a tackle on Walsall midfielder Florent Cuvelier. The O's asked the Football Association to reconsider the official's verdict, but the game's governing body have stuck by the decision and Taiwo will now serve a three-match ban. The midfielder will miss Orient's League One games against Wycombe, Tranmere and Brentford.
