Brentford have extended midfielder Michael Leary's loan from Luton Town for the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old initially joined The Bees on a month's loan earlier this month, but the player has opted to see out the current campaign with the South West London outfit.
Leary has already made four appearances with Scott Fitzgerald's side, and the Brentford boss was pleased to keep the midfielder.
"I'm delighted that Michael wanted to stay with us until the end of the season and in that respect, Mike Newell - the Luton Town manager - has been absolutely brilliant in making it happen," Fitzgerald told the club's official website.
"Michael has shown in his performances that he has the appetite to get involved and has the desire to want to help us get out of the position we find ourselves in."
Two players that have left Griffin Park this week are strikers Gavin Tomlin and Chris Moore.
Tomlin leaves the League One strugglers after joining from non-league side Staines back in August, while Moore has left The Bees to join Conference leaders Dagenham & Redbridge.
