Luton Town midfielder Kevin Nicholls has been named The Championship's Player of the Month for September.
Nicholls joins Swansea City striker Lee Trundle in League One and Leyton Orient hit-man Gary Alexander in League Two in taking the monthly player honours in The Football League.
Hatters captain Nicholls helped Mike Newell's side to four wins out of six last month, as Luton continue to surprise many with their early-season form since winning the League One title last term.
Trundle won the League One award for September after scoring six goals in five matches to lead The Swans to the top of the table.
Alexander won the League Two award after also scoring six goals in five matches for the East London club, as Martin Ling's side moved toward the top of the division.
