LUTON TOWN could be about to make a double transfer swoop, with Stoke City's Dean Crowe looking likely to be offered a permanent contract at Kenilworth Road, while Lee Bullen of Dunfermline has also attracted the attention of Joe Kinnear.

Currently under contract with Dunfermline, Bullen was handed a trial by Luton recently and impressed the club's coaching staff.

However, it seems that Kinnear (pictured) was only willing to offer the midfielder an initial loan deal - a prospect which less than delighted him.

"I did well enough and I scored in the reserve game, but they said they wanted me on loan," he revealed.

"As they are in the Third Division, I didn't want to go on loan and told them I was looking for something more permanent.

"They said they would think about it and get in touch with Dunfermline."

Meanwhile, Crowe - who has impressed by scoring two goals in three games during his loan spell with the club - looks set to be offered a permanent contract by Kinnear.

The Hatters boss confirmed: "Dean has a good chance of being offered a contract."
