Delegates from Bury and Southend will meet on Monday to discuss when their League Two clash will be rearranged.
The two sides were hauled off the pitch less than seven minutes after kick-off because of a waterlogged JD Stadium turf, with both managers in agreement that referee Tony Harrington had made the right decision. The Shakers confirmed on their official website that officials from both clubs will now get together to discuss a new date for the fixture.
