Worrall: I'll slot in wherever

Rotherham winger David Worrall is happy to play anywhere just as long as he gets in the team.

The 23-year-old joined the Millers for an undisclosed fee from Bury last month and is looking to carve out a regular starting spot on the right wing. But having played in central midfield and full-back for the Shakers last season he is ready to feature wherever he is needed. "I played everywhere for Bury, it was just one of those situations where they had no players," he said. "I played centre midfield, I played right-back and when Rotherham took Skarzy (Joe Skarz) I had to play left-back. "You never know, there might be a load of injuries and the gaffer might need me to play in a different position so it's good to have that in my locker. "I'm not bothered where I play as long as I'm playing and enjoying my football." Wherever he does end up, Worrall has guaranteed to put a shift in. "I am like a dog chasing a ball," he added. "If you take the running out of my game I'd be nothing. "I have got a lot of energy and when it gets to the last 10 minutes, I can be more of a threat, I can start out-running people. A lot of people have always said I run a lot, so it is a big part of my game."
