Myles Weston is delighted with the opportunities he has been given at League Two side Gillingham this season.
The forward made only 11 league starts for Brentford last season before sealing a switch to the Priestfield in the summer, where he has already made the starting XI on nine occasions in the league under manager Martin Allen. The 24-year-old has struck five times for the Gills this campaign, and he is thrilled to making a regular contribution to the side, in a number of attacking positions. He told the Kent Messenger: "Last season, I didn't play as much as I wanted to, but here I am playing games and that's the most important thing for me - to enjoy every game I am playing in because I have been at Brentford before and I wasn't playing and I wasn't happy. "I am happy with everything here. We are top of the league and let's hope we can carry on there and get promoted. "Before I signed the gaffer knew I could play on the wing or up front and I am happy to play wherever I can help the team. "I am just happy to play and I am comfortable playing in both positions. If I'm told to play on the right wing then I will. I just enjoy playing football and scoring goals."
