Ryan Hall wants his Southend team-mates to carry the form they showed during Friday's 4-0 thrashing of Bradford into next season.
The 23-year-old winger bagged a brace against the Bantams and has issued a rallying call for the Shrimpers to continue that kind of form for the remainder of the current campaign and into the next one.
"I thought we played well and it was great to get a 4-0 win," Hall told the Echo.
"We want to win the remaining four matches we have left now to make sure we finish as high up as we can in the league table and then we want to take that into next year too because promotion is our aim.
"I want to help take this club back into League One."
