Burton manager Paul Peschisolido has not given up hope of signing Crewe striker Calvin Zola on loan.
Peschisolido has been encouraged to renew his interest in a deal after the 25-year-old, who is out of favour at Gresty Road, rejected a temporary move to League Two rivals Shrewsbury.
Zola had previously turned down an offer from Albion, as well as Bradford and Southend, but Peschisolido said: "I will keep trying to get him to Burton. I think Calvin would be a massive asset to our club.
"It looked as though Shrewsbury were favourites to sign him, so I wouldn't rule anything out at this stage."
