Southend United manager Steve Tilson has revealed he is waiting for the League Two club to offer him a new contract.
Tilson has been in charge at Roots Hall since November 2003 and the 43-year-old has presided over more than 350 matches.
He has 12 months to run on his existing deal but, following the club's relegation from League One last season, has yet to hear anything about a new contract.
"I am still waiting for the club to get back to me with an offer of a new contract," Tilson told the Echo.
Meanwhile, Tilson expressed his satisfaction that striker Scott Spencer has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
He added: "We're obviously pleased that Scott will still be with us for next season."
