Millwall have opened talks with record goalscorer Neil Harris over a new contract, the club have confirmed.
The veteran striker is out of contract at the end of the season and is free to talk to other clubs from 1st January 2010.
But the Lions have announced that they are in discussions with Harris and a number of others players over their futures.
"There is a few players we are talking to, but at this early stage we won't be discussing details too publicly because there's some way to go yet," Lions chief executive Andy Ambler told the Southwark News.
"It's not just Neil we're talking to. There's two, three or four we're looking at."
