Winger joins Cumbrians from Scunthorpe
Winger Kevan Hurst has completed his move to Carlisle from Scunthorpe for a fee that could rise to £145,000, depending on appearances.
The Cumbrians have agreed a two-year deal with the 23-year-old, who has been brought in to fill the void left by Cleveland Taylor, who moved to Brentford last week.
Hurst spent two years with the Iron after joining the Championship side from Sheffield United in a £200,000 deal, but has found first-team opportunities hard to come by due to the form of Martyn Woolford.
Carlisle boss Greg Abbott told the club's official website: "He's one that we know all about and we are delighted that he is with us.
"He will come in and provide a very good option right across the middle of the park as he has an excellent delivery and very good awareness.
"We are looking forward to working with him."
