Swindon striker Blair Sturrock has signed on loan for Torquay until the end of the season.
Sturrock will also be available for the club's play-off ties should the Blue Square Premier side, currently third in the table, finish in the top five.
The 28-year-old's deal does include a 24-hour recall clause which becomes active after the first month of his stay. He will go straight into the Gulls' squad for their league clash at Mansfield this weekend.
Sturrock was most recently an unused substitute in Town's dramatic 4-3 victory at Northampton in midweek.
Torquay chief executive Colin Lee told the Gulls' official website: "I would like to thank Swindon Town and Danny Wilson for their support in allowing Blair to join us.
"They have understood the financial budgets that we work under at Plainmoor and have been extremely helpful from that point of view regarding our wage structure."
