Bournemouth have handed a trial to Swindon Town striker Blair Sturrock.
Sturrock is currently well down Maurice Malpas' pecking order and he thinks it is only fair that the striker is getting games.
Malpas believes Bournemouth's new boss Jimmy Quinn could well give Sturrock the chance to join the South Coast outfit on a month's loan.
"It would be a good move for Blair because he has had no game time at all this season.
"Simon Cox and Billy Paynter have been in such good form that the likes of Lee Peacock, Barry Corr and Ben Joyce have had to play in the reserves to keep them ticking over.
"I need them to be ready to step in if required, and Blair has been a bit unlucky in that regard.
"I think Jimmy will have a look at it after the reserve game and decide whether or not to take Blair on loan for a month."
