Defender joins League Two outfit
Brentford have completed the signing of former Millwall defender Mark Phillips.
The centre-half, who is a free agent following his release by the Lions at the end of last season, featured in three of the Bees' pre-season friendlies.
He becomes manager Andy Scott's 12th signing of a busy summer.
Phillips made 74 appearances during a seven-year stint with Millwall, while he also spent a period on loan at Darlington in 2007.
He is expected to go straight into Scott's squad for Saturday's clash with Grimsby at Griffin Park.
