Coventry City have agreed a deal to sign Freddy Eastwood from Championship rivals Wolves. The deal ends a long pursuit by Coventry boss Chris Coleman, who has been chasing the Wales international for some time. Wolves were willing to let Eastwood move on after dropping down the pecking order at Molineux. Eastwood has agreed personal terms with Coventry and will put pen-to-paper on his contract once he comes through his medical. Sky Blues chairman Ray Ranson was delighted to land the former Southend hit-man. "Freddy has been a long-term target for us and we are delighted to have concluded everything," Ranson told the club's official website. "He fits the bill in terms of being a quality player at the right age. We believe he will be an exciting addition to the squad."
