Southend's Garry Richards has had his red card against Oldham rescinded after an appeal to The FA was successful.
The centre-back was sent for an early bath during his side's 1-0 win at Boundary Park on Saturday.
However, an appeal to The FA was successful and referee Trevor Kettle's decision was subsequently overruled.
Southend manager Steve Tilson was pleased with the decision and revealed he thought the referee had got it wrong at the time.
"It's excellent news because we didn't believe Garry should have been sent off," he said on the club's official website.
"I'm glad that common sense has prevailed and we can now prepare for Saturday's match against Doncaster with Garry in our thoughts."
