Southend United have snapped up Blackpool defender Peter Clarke.
The 24-year-old has penned a three-year deal at Roots Hall after Southend agreed an undisclosed fee with Blackpool for the player.
Shrimpers boss Steve Tilson has been chasing Clarke all summer, as he prepares for life in The Championship.
Clarke is Southend's fifth new signing of the summer and he is excited by the move.
"This is a big move for me," said Clarke.
