Skysports.com can reveal that League One table-toppers Southend have signed Yeovil defender Efetobore Sodje.The 33-year-old Nigerian international has agreed a one-and-a-half year deal at Roots Hall, with the option for a further year.
Sodje leaves Huish Park having made 17 appearances this season and is now set to figure in Southend's promotion charge.
Sodje's agent, Dan Fletcher, has told skysports.com that his client is delighted at the prospect of moving to a side with Championship aspirations.
"Efetobore is really pleased to be joining a club higher up the league,'' Fletcher told skysports.com.
''The deal will be good for his family and he's looking forward to it.''
