Southend United have signed Fredy Eastwood from Grays Athletic.
Southend United have signed Fredy Eastwood from Grays Athletic for an undisclosed fee.The 21-year-old striker has been on loan at Roots Hall this season and impressive form has convinced the club to sign him permanently.
"I'm over the moon to have signed for The Blues." Eastwood told Southend's official website.
"Southend gave me my chance and I am enjoying my time here and I just want to do my best for the fans.
"The gaffer seems happy with what I've done and I'm happy with my performances as well.
Shrimpers manager Steve Tilson was satisfied to secure the services of a player he believes has a big future.
"He has done very well here and hopefully he can go on to score a lot more goals for the club." commented Tilson.
"He's only 21 and hopefully he can develop here - To have him for three years is a real coup.
"Obviously I hope he can go up the leagues with Southend."
