Yeovil moved top of League 2 after a 2-1 away win at Shrewsbury.
The Glovers were forced to come from behind after Luke Rodgers opened the scoring five minutes before the break, but two goals in three minutes from Lee Johnson (pictured) and Bartosz Tarachulski midway through the second half took the spoils.
Scunthorpe were toppled from the head of the table after being held to a 1-1 draw by Mansfield at Glanford Park.
Things started well for The Iron when Ian Baraclough edged them ahead after three minutes, but they could not build on the lead and were pegged back by David Artell.
Swansea kept pace with the front runners after a narrow 1-0 win over Rushden and Diamonds with Kevin Nugent grabbling the all-important goal after 36 minutes.
Wycombe earned a late point from their trip to Cheltenham when Keith Ryan cancelled out Jamie Victory's opener with 16 minutes remaining.
Macclesfield ground out a 1-0 home win over Darlington with Mark Bailey proving the match-winner after 47 minutes.
Northampton proved too strong for Bristol Rovers, Scott McLeish's double ensured Dave Savage's late effort was no more than a consolation.
Leyton Orient and Boston cancelled each other out at Brisbane Road as the game finished goalless.
Southend moved into the top half after Mark Gower's first half goal proved sufficient to sink Kidderminster.
Grimsby put the disappointment of their Carling Cup defeat to Charlton behind them with a fine 2-0 success at Cambridge.
Andy Parkinson and John McDermott got on the scoresheet with goals on 65 and 72 respectively.
Oxford beat Bury 3-1, Steve Basham and Tommy Mooney added to a an own-goal from Paul Scott whilst David Nugent replied for the visitors.
Individual performance of the day came from Glynn Hurst whose superb hat-trick shot Notts County to an emphatic 3-0 win over Rochdale.
Lincoln and Chester shared the spoils at Sincil Bank with Kevin Ellison equalising Francis Green's opener.
