Warnock keeping options open

Image: Paddy Kenny: awaiting results of scan before training return

Paddy Kenny should be fit to face Manchester United on Sunday - but QPR manager Neil Warnock might stick with Radek Cerny.

Kenny not guaranteed to regain place from Cerny

QPR goalkeeper Paddy Kenny is on course to be available after a three-game absence against Manchester United on Sunday. But manager Neil Warnock is considering sticking with Kenny's deputy Radek Cerny after the Czech's impressive displays during defeats at Norwich and Liverpool and draw with West Brom. Kenny has been sidelined by a muscle strain but is waiting for the results of a scan, expected on Monday, before getting back in training. "Paddy's very close," Warnock told The Sun. "He wanted to train last week but the medical boys wouldn't let him until he has this scan. But will he get back in? "He's our first choice, but Raddy has done ever so well in all three games he's played. "He wasn't getting a look-in last season but I promised him another year here whatever division we were in - I'm glad I did. "Raddy's been marvellous for us. He's a great professional and let him enjoy his moment. "It's not going to be an easy choice for me to make."
