Davide Somma has extended his loan agreement at Lincoln City until the end of the season.
The Leeds United forward joined the Imps on an initial one-month deal at the end of February.
The South African moved to Elland Road last summer, but is yet to make the breakthrough with Simon Grayson's side.
The Whites are keen for him to gain greater experience of life in English football before throwing him into the fold.
As a result, Somma took in a relatively unproductive loan spell at Chesterfield earlier in the season, but has shone since linking up with Lincoln.
He has scored five goals in as many games for Chris Sutton's side, making him a firm fans' favourite at Sincil Bank.
Imps supporters will therefore welcome the news that he is set to remain with the club until 8th May, although Leeds have inserted a 24-hour recall clause in the deal.
