Leeds forward handed three-match ban for violent conduct

The FA has confirmed Tresor Kandol's three-match ban for violent conduct following Saturday's 4-0 rout of Yeovil at Elland Road. The 28-year-old Leeds forward lashed out at Yeovil striker Sam Williams in a mass melee in the centre circle as the players were leaving the pitch and was reported by referee Andy Haines. Kandol admitted the charge and a regulatory committee confirmed the ban on Thursday. It means the forward will miss the FA Cup clash against Oldham on Saturday, the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Grimsby and the league trip to Brighton on November 21. This enforced spell on the sidelines will come as a big blow to the striker after he recently emerged as a first-team contender for the League One leaders. Kandol has made four substitute appearances in League One so far this season, getting on the scoresheet against Yeovil and Bristol Rovers.
