Leeds United manager Simon Grayson admits signing Sam Sodje remains an option for the League One club.
Sodje is available on a free transfer after being released by Reading and impressed on loan at Leeds at the end of last season.
He is currently weighing up his options and has been linked with Bristol City in addition to a return to Elland Road.
Grayson confirmed that now the Whites are back for pre-season training he may revive his interest in signing Sodje.
"He's another option for us," Grayson told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"I think all along the summer Sam has been keeping his options to himself and we have as well. We've got to make sure we get the right ones for us.
"Sam did ever so well during his time here. Obviously it's something we will probably catch up on and now we've started back it's a case of seeing where he's at really."
