Jackett keen to thrash out Kandol's future

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has revealed he is keen to hold talks with Leeds United to thrash out striker Tresor Kandol's future. The 27-year-old is nearing the end of his successful six-month loan at The Den in which he has scored eight goals from 15 league starts. Millwall are keen to retain Kandol's services, but with Simon Grayson now at the Leeds helm Jackett is unsure whether his Elland Road status has changed.

Leeds' new boss could decide to restore Kandol's previously successful partnership with Jermaine Beckford or he may be willing to allow Kandol to join Millwall permanently. "I will be speaking to the new Leeds manager as Tresor's parent club to see what his thoughts are," Jackett told the Southwark News. "I don't know where Leeds see the situation. I know Tresor is happy at Millwall and has enjoyed his time here and we will see how the situation progresses."
