Leeds United have been boosted by the news that David Prutton and Alan Martin have penned new deals.
Former England Under-21 international Prutton is a firm fans' favourite at Elland Road and had one year left on his existing deal.
However, the hard-working midfielder has now penned a one-year extension that will keep him with The Whites until the summer of 2010.
Meanwhile, youth goalkeeper Martin, who joined from Motherwell last summer has agreed a three-year deal.
Martin is yet to make a senior appearance for The Whites, but did feature in their pre-season tour of Republic of Ireland.
