Leeds are looking to land Barnet winger Jason Puncheon, skysports.com understands.
The 21-year-old, who arrived at Underhill last year after leaving Milton Keynes Dons, has flourished under Paul Fairclough.
The Bees boss has already admitted that he will find it very hard to hang onto Puncheon - who hit the headlines earlier this week with a stunning hat-trick against Dagenham & Redbridge.
Scouts from the Premier League and Championship clubs are now taking a keen interest in Puncheon - but Leeds have seemingly already seen enough to convince them that the left-winger is good enough for them.
It is understood Leeds have tabled an offer - but Barnet are said to be looking for close to £500,000 for the player and the offer from Dennis Wise's side is short of that.
Leeds' offer looks to be the opening bid and it now seems highly likely Puncheon will be moving next month.
