Leeds United midfielder Ian Westlake is to see a specialist after sustaining a groin injury.
Initial reports suggest Westlake, who has sat out Leeds' last three games, could be sidelined for another six weeks.
"Westy has a problem with his groin," Leeds boss Dennis Wise told the club's official website.
"He needs to see a specialist, have an injection, and we'll see how things go from there."
Wise, meanwhile, has voiced his anger at the players who put their own greed before their club.
He claims his attempts to bring in loan signings have been destroyed by players' selfish demands.
Wise explained: "Roy Keane hit the nail on the head when he was talking about signing players. He said it is always about 'how much'.
"Players want to know what they are going to get, they want assurances of being signed permanently at the end of the loan.
"They are always looking at the financial side of things, rather than the real challenge at Leeds.
"Because it is Leeds and the club had a big reputation a few seasons ago of paying big money, they have pound signs in their eyes."
