Jermaine Beckford has told Scunthorpe that he would consider turning his loan spell from Leeds into a permanent arrangement in the summer.
Since leaving Elland Road for Glanford Park the pacey striker has impressed for the League One table toppers in grabbing two goals from four appearances.
At the weekend against Rotherham it was Beckford that proved Scunthorpe's match-winner as he settled the contest with a stunning strike that shot his side to the summit.
Beckford admits he is loving life at the moment and with the possibility it may be Scunthorpe rather than Leeds that will be playing Championship football next season, he is weighing up his options carefully.
"I'm loving it here," he said. "I'm at Scunthorpe until the summer, then who knows?
"But, right now, I'd be more than happy to stay.
"We're now three points clear at the top and I'm determined to score the goals to get us into the championship."
