Sean Gregan has left Leeds United after his contract with the club was cancelled by mutual consent.

The former West Brom man was well down the pecking order at Leeds this term, making just two appearances for the Elland Road outfit.

Gregan recently completed a loan spell with Oldham Athletic and is now on the look-out for a new club after departing The Whites.

The Latics are reportedly keen to bring Gregan back to Boundary Park for the rest of the season, although the likes of Hull and Doncaster are also said to be interested.

"We would like to express our thanks to him for the contribution when he helped to stabilise the position after our relegation," a Leeds spokesman told the club's official website.

Meanwhile, Leeds have been boosted by the news that striker Tore Andre Flo is free to play in their FA Cup clash against West Brom after receiving his international clearance.
